About
Maps, made personal.
Maps Printer turns the places you love into art you can hang — beautiful by default, precise to the street, and truly yours.
Design quality by default
The editor's defaults are already gallery-ready — curated palettes, refined typography, and a live preview that is exactly what prints.
Real data, honestly licensed
We build on OpenStreetMap under a clean, open licence, with attribution on every artwork. No scraping, no grey areas.
Yours to keep
No watermarks and no lock-in. A digital map is a file you own; a print is made to outlast the wall it hangs on.
FAQ
Where does the map data come from?
Every map is rendered from OpenStreetMap — real, current, community-maintained street data — under the ODbL licence, with attribution baked into the artwork.
What resolution are the files?
Digital downloads are 300 DPI, sized for the format you choose — sharp enough for large-format printing.
Can I print it myself?
Yes. Digital downloads have no watermark and are yours to print anywhere, as many times as you like.
How are prints made and shipped?
Prints are produced on museum-quality archival paper through a local production network, so they reach you faster with a smaller footprint.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship prints across the United States, produced locally for fast delivery. Digital downloads are available anywhere.
